Level 1 built the shooter. Level 2 builds the operator
At Level 2 there is no re-teaching of fundamentals. We expect you can build a prone position, run your scope, read your data and put rounds where you want them. What we’re going to find out is whether you can still do it on a clock, off a barricade, at a bad angle, out of breath, with your body in a position it doesn’t want to be in.
What’s Different About Level 2
Level 1
deliberate positions
instructor-guided
make the shot
Level 2
under pressure
the terrain gives you
head-to-head
the shot FIRST
Position Mastery
Perfect prone is a luxury you rarely get. Level 2 lives in every other position.
- Standing, high kneel, low kneel and seated
- Tripod fundamentals and positional tripod work
- Building a stable position fast, under time
- VTAC barricade and pivoting fence — working every port and every height
- Improvised rests and awkward terrain
- Support-side shooting, off-hand and non-dominant eye
- Timed. Scored. Run head-to-head when the apparatus allows.
Heart rate is the variable nobody trains for.
Run & Gun / Stress Shoot
The obstacle course becomes the range. Move, climb, negotiate obstacles, then engage from each firing position.
Push Back Shoot
One shot per position. Start at 50 yards, sprint back to 100, then 150, 200, 250.
Rifle Here, Ammo There
Your rifle stays grounded in position. Your ammo doesn’t. Every single shot means a sprint back and a fresh return to the gun.
- Target Transitions / Return to Center
- MOA Challenge
- Headshots Only
- Sniper Golf
The skills that get you into position and back out again.
Stalking & Patrolling
Riverbed stalk lanes. Undetected movement, use of terrain, and the patience it actually takes to close distance on an alert observer.
Land Navigation & Orienteering
Map, compass, terrain association and route planning across the ranch — day and night.
High Angle and Observation
- True high-angle engagements — shooting up and shooting down off the hills
- Working the tripod while scanning and calling
- Irregular and unfamiliar target shapes at unknown distances
- Timed positional tripod work
- Advanced spotter duties and communication
